As the dust settled yesterday on the Tuesday Primary, Conservatives counted their victories and losses. Outstanding victories in Flordia for Marco Rubio and Rick Scott have given rise to a narrative that the Tea Parties have galvanized the Conservative Base of the Republican Party. In Rick Scott’s case, his opponent Bill McCollum was the insider endorsed by Jeb Bush and Mike “Huckles” Huckabee.

Sadly, Sen. John “Amnesty” McCain will be roaming the Senate for 6 more years. J.D. Hayworth was done in by two things: a $21 million war chest and an open primary with many Democrats running over to vote for McCain, ala Operation Chaos. Thank you to J.D. for putting up a good fight til the end.

Now, the most interesting battle that we have been tracking is the Alaska dog fight between RINO #6, Lisa Murkowski, possibly losing to the Sarah Palin endorsed, Tea Party favorite Joe Miller. Mr. Miller is enjoying a 1,668 vote lead as of this morning, with plenty of absentee ballots yet to be counted. We are watching and will announce if our RINO is down for the count!

Also, thanks to everyone that participated in our LIVE Chat. We received great feedback on how to make that better, and we plan to have an updated chat set up for the Sept. Primary!

Last week to get your FREE Bumper Sticker! Just fill out the PDF Coupon and email it in!

Tomorrow, we will list the Republicans that voted for Obama’s Stimulus that has turned out to be nothing more than a slush fund for the Democrat Party.

Lindsey Graham and VP Joe “Plugs” Biden. What are your thoughts and theories? Party switch? Deal for Kagan nod? Or just a beer summit to kick back a few?

Note: I can’t take credit for the biting sarcasm that is “Sen. Lindable Grahible” from muppitized Michael Steele. Check out the video from Monday’s post at about minute 4.

On FOX News this past Sunday, Republican Senator Lindsey ‘Grahamnesty’ of South Carolina decided that he needed to stick his foot in his mouth about Supreme Court Nominee Justice Sotomayor. His nuanced approach to the racist comments made by Justice Sotomayor is in stark contrast to his own comments to La Raza. It seems that if you are a Latina woman that says you are better than a white man in deciding the law, its a “troubling” statement, but if you are a white man that says illegal immigrants need to come to America legally, you are a bigot. Makes perfect sense, Sen. Grahamnesty. Sounds like a great piece of literature we *should* have all read in school.

There is a consideration behind Graham’s comments that is regretable for an American born into freedom. It comes from a wing of the Republican elite that sees the illegal immigrant population as future voters. They pander at every opportunity to the different social organizations like La Raza. This pandering attitude is a recipe for disaster. With the exception of Canada, our hemisphere is dominated by soft Socialist countries, all still Third World, that enable these organizations. Our ideas are better and stronger than those of Socialist regimes in our world, because they are not bound to a social or ethinic class. By pandering to the political and emotional sensibilities of people who do not know nor care about the American heritage, these RINOs are dooming our country to cease to exist as a beacon of liberty for the world. Not all Latin Americans believe in Socialism, not all Latin Americans want to be taken care of by the government, and not all Latin Americans want to give the American franchise to illegal immigrants. The great secret of our American Experiment is that it is the inner yearning of all people. It is an idea that ignores experience or richness of history. All people can enjoy it in their own country if they are exposed to its granduer and if their leaders give to them the engine of freedom. Our young experiment cannot be allowed to be influenced by someone’s physical makeup or past history. When we give the power to dispense justice, we must give it to people that will interpret the law, not empathize with either party. If we allow such influence on our court, our experiment will fail.
